• Seventeen years after Helena immigrates from Taiwan to America, she reunites with her sister, Sage, and is forced to confront the differing worlds that now exist between them.

    The project is currently in pre-production and is expected to be released in 2026.

  • Too often in the media, immigrants and migrants are dehumanized by the constant scrutiny of their legal rights in America. With LIVING, we want to steer the conversation away from policy and look solely at the personal impacts of immigration. How does immigration effect not just those who leave, but also those who stay in their home country? What do those relationships look like after years of distance?

LIVING is fiscally sponsored by Fractured Atlas! We have been an active fundraiser up where all donations made towards the project will be tax deductible for those who. contribute. In addition, Fractured Atlas makes it possible for LIVING to be eligible for donation matching should your employer partake.

In order to make the best film possible, we need to raise $35,000 by start of production. All funds will go towards acquiring the best equipment, paying our phenomenal cast and crew, post-production materials, and submissions to film festivals.
